    Thank you for your comments!
Well, i was dumb in a way. When the car was there to have the "actuator" fixed i told the service adviser that i wanted the old part back. He said that it wouldn't be a problem.
But with all this frustration and aggravation, i forgot to demand the old "Actuator" back from them. Maybe i could of sold it on Ebay for 300USD and cut down my losses

    In another note.
My fob key is being stubborn. It didn't work when i purchased the car, and its the only key i have for the ///M. I did opened to change the battery, with a 2016 Energizer battery. I couldn't find a new original battery.
I tried to reprogram, by watching Youtube vids. No luck!
When i recover from this massive " ///M for Maintenance" I will bring it back to the dealership to have them look at it.

    Hi friend!
No i don't have a second key. I only have one. Good site! thx!

Also today. My air vent went out again, then i hit the passenger side wall where the "FSU" is located, and it started to work. GOD!! I just replaced that "FSU" with a OEM from the dealership. What can possibly be going on this time WTF!

Check to make sure your connection is good and tight on the FSU. Also get another key, even if it is the crappy plastic one. Nothing worse than losing your keys, and you have to wait 2-3 days for a new one to come in.

I don't think its the connection. Because it snaps on, it wouldn't snap if it wasn't...The vents are going on and off. But i can see your point, because on the older FSU i would just touch the wires and the vents would come on. But that was on the beginning stages of the FSU going bad. The other thing i noticed was the A/C is blowing colder...I think its the blower that is causing the FSU to go out every few months...Any other ideas...?

Take a closer look at the wiring harness/plug. If you have some contact cleaner, use that to clean it up. Also make sure the wires are tight in the plastic holder, as some could have gotten hot, and loosen up the bracket in which they sit.

Yes, the plastic is removeable. I had to do that on the wagon, as the lenses were starting to get cracked/spiderwebed along the top side. Now the newer models, they are sealed with glue, and you cannot replace them anymore. So big bucks if you get fogged/crack lights.

I thought that was a really noice touch from BMW engineers. Oh! My passenger side headrest just took at dump... looked around to see how to get it fix, something about the cable. I will have to tackle that...OH BOY!

AFAIK, there is not cable for the headrest, only a motor to move it up/down.

That can happen, it is over 10 years old. What you can do is note it in the back of your head, and every year when you change the oil, lube it up.

The stupid FSU or heat is still going on and off... Even tho i have change it myself with a OEM FSU twice!. I have no idea what it can be causing this problem. Probably a bad wire or something
Probably drop it off to BMW of Newport and let them deal with it

Did you buy it from BMW? If so, there is typically a 2yr unlimited warrenty on most parts.

Yes i did buy it from a dealership. Something wrong somewhere in that area, because i have to kick that part of the floor or side panel a couple of time to so it can start working again. I don't know man...Its something there that is causing the FSU to burn out

How dirty is the slot that the FSU goes into? At times if the filter isn't replaced on a regular basis (1 yr) they tend to allow dirt to pass. Otherwise I am thinking that the climate control or fan may have a hand in it.

On that thread, they are replacing the oil level sending unit, which turns on the yellow oil can. If you have that problem too, go ahead and replace it, Hella is the OEM supplier.

As for the gauge, replace the sending unit on the oil filter housing.

Pffff don't pay them prices from ECS tuning, you always have to shop around: http://www.amazon.com/HELLA-00786803...ype=automotive

I would just leave it until you need to do an oil change.

BTW I used the same on in the wagon about 3 years ago, no issues since.

Wow, you are having way too many issues with this car, I use to have a 2003 325ci back in 2007-08, and I had a similar experience....got to find out that the car had been in a flood. I didn't want to keep replacing everything so I traded for something else. Water damage/Moisture can cause a LOT of electrical and sensor related issues and gremlins.

Thank you friend for the link. I always buy my oil kit there, so that is why i looked into.
