Toolman, would you be interested in fabricating another adapter plate for the same supercharger build? I am very interested in buying one. Thanks!

This was a build I did last spring but decided to pull it apart, make a few changes and do a thread.
Basically everything bolts together like jaguar intended, I had to change the bolt pattern on the intake plenum for the throttle body so it would bolt up and firewall clearance was limited but it all fits well and runs amazing.

I'm also interested if there is a kit for this Jag modification. Toolman - can you update us if you are offering kits for those who are looking to buy?

Yeah. Toolman isn't a vendor so he can't advertise, and, seems to want to keep a lo-pro on his for sale items and pricing anyway.

i'm still interested in the experiments going on over at bimmerbosted of using a newer more compact jaguar blower with a forward facing throttle body, something to keep an eye on for sure.

Looking for an e39 Touring black carpet set, including the rear cargo cubbies and side sections!
ALSO looking for 540i 6speed manual transmission sets (2001+ pedals with switches, driveshaft, gearbox), for the 6speed swap! Probably not for a while....

    I'm back...
So i had this extra sts blower sitting around and thought i'd see what the newer design with the larger inlet, possibly improved intercooler, and larger and straight ports would do and if it would actually fit under the hood. The port shape and spacing wouldn't work at all so they were cut from the casting. I made die to form runner tube halves from sheet and welded them together, this way i could form a taper for the intake runners

    sts blower? cool
but i think at that height, it's less about fitting under the hood and more about how big of a hole you'll have to cut in it for the blower to fit though

Crazy?! Is he saying that it actually DOES fit? Looks HUGE on the mockup motor but if thats it in the engine bay, doesn't look so bad!?

Impressive job on the runners! From here, it looks like it will fit with the hood closed. What throttle body?

Technically it did fit...20171214_181602.jpg but i ended up cutting the motor mounts and welding them so the motor set 1/2" lower.

    - - - Updated - - -

The STS and the M62 throttle body are basically the same.

Thanks you guys for the compliments. It's been a lot of work!!!! I've only had had a couple of days i could test and tune with all the snow here in Michigan and with the salt on the roads traction is limited so i can't say if there is an improvement over the XKR setup but hey i'm just happy it works at this point.
I had a problem with heat soak on the old system and noticed the cheapo coolant pump was kapoot! Heres a pic of the new ZL1 pump verses old dead pump. Made a huge difference!
