I've been watching this thread since it started and really liking the progress! Not to high jack the thread but what do you think about the cts-v supercharger, like this one:
http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item...770613&alt=web
What's nice about this one is that the throttle body mount is up front instead of in the rear.
Keep the pics and progress coming!
For a non-intercooled setup, those CTS-V blowers look sweet!
I actually tried the m122 from the sts but even after extensive modifications it wouldn't fit under the hood.

They have intercoolers built in to the top.
I'm working on putting the larger rotors in the m112 case.
Very nice work! I'm loving the clean install. I just picked up a M90 from the local auto salvage for cheap and I'm going to do a budget build on my Mercedes 190D and I'll be lucky if it looks (and maybe works) half as good as yours does.
I'd love to see a dyno graph to see how this set-up performs.

Good luck on your install! Boost really the way a car feels.
Here is the eaton m112 with the longer m122 rotors installed. It effectively rebuilds the supercharger while adding displacement. Along with the rotors I also had to use the m122 snout and replaced the rear roller bearings. We shall see how it works after the snow gets out of here.
Looks good. How much more flow do the bigger rotors provide? Any plans for a dyno soon?

I also notice that you have changed the style of the bracing for the idler pulley, which looks stiffer now.
I`v also gotta say that is one nice lookin V8 engine with that charger there. My cool chargers don`t say supercharged on them but i could easily swop them locally for ones that do.
Thanks philly. 9% by volume and i'm thinking 5-10% for the tighter clearance. We will see in a few days when the snow melts.

Thanks Kenny, I remade the idler pulley bracket. It had a little too much rap and actually rubbed together as it was running. so I made the latest version a little different.
It's been awhile so I thought I'd give you guys an update. The M122 rotors made it so responsive now first gear is absolutely useless, Their is so much torque it's a blast to drive. With the bigger blower it's now pulling some timing back to 19deg so I know there is more power still on the table. I installed a water/methanol injection to keep it safe and once I get dialed in I'll get it on the dyno.

Sounds very good. Any thoughts / progress on making parts for sale? About the only thing I would have different for this setup would be having it just truly native tuned and ditching the RRFPR, which personally I just don't like. And maybe routing the intake down into the front fender a la all the other centrifugal kits and the Dinan CAI system.

Geargrinder I have several kits ready to go now. The way I'm using the FMU is starting at a lower pressure for idle and part throttle to accommodate the larger injectors and rising to normal pressures on boost. I don't like throwing high pressures at injectors for fueling either. If there was somebody in my area that could tune the BM dme I would let them at it. I like the idea of running the filter behind the bumper and plan on doing that soon but now with the snow system the intercoolers are actually cold after getting on it so not sure if it will help any.
Wow - cool - didn't know you were ready to set others up yet. Do you have another thread etc? I know we are prob OK so far but sooner or later we are in sticky territory vs being a site sponsor... I know the RRFPR is a practical solution and sounds like the build running solid - just saying yea ideal will be when you can get the setup to a good tuner... Maybe some time you can get there or can find a tuner to fly in to do the job (becomes an even more worth while idea if you are selling parts so you can sell an finely tuned DME flash to go with it...)

Under hard acceleration I'm getting an awful noise from the drive train. I think the drive shaft coupler is hitting the tunnel. Anybody else have to control rear end housing with different bushings?

Awesome work. Saw your posts over on BimmerBoost as well. The "kit" looks great. Definitely interested in following your footsteps sometime in the future (looking to pick up an E39 540iT soon), but would definitely want to have the ECU tuned instead of the use of an FMU for additional fueling, etc.
So, you have this installed on an engine with a stock ZF 5HP24 auto trans? How is the trans holding up so far? Any idea what kinda power the car is putting down now with the M122 rotors and the meth injection?
My car will be an auto (daily driver/family car that the wife needs to be able to drive as well) and the thing I would worry about the most is how the stock auto tranny will hold up.
I assume you've checked the guibo to see if it's worn, etc? Can't imagine that anything down there is close enough to the tunnel to make contact even with the increase in power...unless something down there (guibo, trans mounts, center bearing, diff mounts, etc) is worn and allowing excessive play.
