Wipers not parking in right spot

Its a 1998 740i & requires the 2 relays... replaced both & no change in the parking position which is ~4 inches above the bottom... They have a full and proper range of motion and there is no problem with delay & speed settings...

I've looked at the arms and wondered if they can be adjusted or is there a method to reset home position?

The home position is typically driven by a sensor in the gearbox. Replacing the wiper motor/gearbox should solve your issue.

I heard it was a possible relay issue also...

I'd hoped that the new relays would do it too ... When I get the chance I'll pull the motor and replace see whats up ...
