BMW 850i and BMW 750i engine swap

Does anybidy know if i can change my 1992 BMW 850i engine with same year or early 90's BMW 750i engine? do i need any computer update or brcket change?

Thank you. It seems a possibility but rather risky perhaps. Did you end up doing it or repaired your engine?

always depends on the condition of the engine offered and the engine in the car. You know what you have and what trouble the existing engine has, a used engine is always playing a bit risk.

my car has ring blow by on one bank, which is a serious problem. Other than that the engine is tight. Would you mind checking my other post on the matter and provide opinion. I included pressure test and leak test results of my engine near the end of the post there.
