In the never ending pursuit of a perfectly reconditioned 8, two small r & r jobs this weekend.
First one was a transmission cooler line that had been weeping since I purchased the vehicle. This one line attached to the transmission cooler in front of the radiator with the original crimp-band clamps had gotten to the point that I could easily twist the rubber line on the hydraulic tubes. See link below for location. Zip wheeled off the old clamps and replaced new.

Worth checking if you guys are working in this area of the engine compartment.
The second item was the engine to chassis ground strap located on the passenger side by the A/C compressor.
Image shows the missing insulation and wire starting to fray after removal.

New one purchased from ECS tuning installed:

This one is also worth checking while your up under your vehicle.

Good thinking, just replacing the clamps. I have some to do as well.
