The heat shield on the obd1 midpipe with 110k miles with cats is a bit loose and the brace will need new [COLOR=red !important][COLOR=red !important]hardware[/COLOR][/COLOR]. You can tack weld the shield or leave it be as I have done. RRT of Sterling, VA professionally modified the midpipe to fit the SS rep long tube headers.
Comes with joining sleeves to mate to SS long tube headers so they are bolt-on.

what was modified? it looks like it was just cut and you used the weird clamps and didnt make flanges?
They were professionally cut by RRT to the proper length, and they put on a pair of sleeves/clamps on them. Unfortunately, I sold these clamps/sleeves with the SS rep headers. Another pair of sleeves and clamps will have to be sourced. I think you can get some at Jegs or Summit Racing. I can measure the diameter of the pipes. PM if interested. Thanks.
