02 535i has a strange "bogging down" when at cruizing speed.

This strange bogging down only occurs when I am cruizing through town or on a highway with the gas held slightly, not accelerating and not decelerating. It has no cold start issues or rough idle. I have been checking all vaccum lines and changed my spark plugs. The only issue the car has is a bad wheel speed sensor. I would really appreciate any guidance and help.

Update.... The vacuum line to the fuel pressure regulator was split, fixed it but still same issue.

What codes are stored, even though the CEL is not on?

BTW, we did not get the 535 in North America.

Update: I have checked all fuses and left the cars battery unhooked for one hour in hopes of resetting the computer. No luck.

Update: it was a wet sensor, dried it reset computer and all is well.
