That is proper. It seems like everyone gawks over the rear of the M3, but the M4's is perfect. The M3 just seems chunky and unnatural. Not to say I don't like it, but the M4 is so much more natural and flows so well.

Phenomenal job with the photography. Of course a good looking car helps too . Sorry if I missed this but is your buddy's m4 on stock suspension? It looks much lower than the other m4's in the pictures you provided.

Definitely lowered, and looks so much better for it. He had the car stock for all of a week. All upgrade parts were pre-ordered and waiting to go on by the time he took delivery of it.

I'll ask what setup he's riding on, as I'm just not familiar with all the new bimmer goodies.

Saw my first M4 on the road the other day - beautiful Austin Yellow convertible... he gunned it for me and it had a really nice sound. Very different from past M's, bit more "AMG-ish" but not bad at all. Definitely a nice looking car

Gorgeous pictures, very nicely put together....the car looks good too! I'm not a fan of the new M series however this car is beautiful.

Beautiful car... I was just giving these pictures a second look, and I couldn't help but think ... "that steering wheel is ugly..." but that's just my opinion. Nice photography by the way.

Paddles! No!!!!!!! Great car but the lack of a serious and well engineered manual gearbox kills it for me.

Loving the pictures, such a gorgeous car. The only thing that is killing me is that interior color choice. Ive never understood why people chose that considering the other options avaliable. It just doesnt make any sense to me at all

Another shot he did. I'd say my training stuck pretty well with him!

I have no real way to edit video, so this is the best I could manage.
Audio clip of the exhaust at the end! YAAAY!

OP - your pictures are great, man! What light source were you using for the light painting pics?

I feel your love for a manual gearbox but the DCT is most definitely a "serious" and "well engineered" gearbox. Have you driven one? They are pretty amazing.

I use a portable 24" rechargeable fluorescent tube. $30 vs hundreds of dollars. I'd rather put my money into glass any day.

Look up "What-A-Light" on Amazon, it will come right up. Battery could be better, takes a long time to charge if you don't use it often. Other than that it's killer. An LED version with some sort of a diffusor might be better, but the diffusion is crucial to a good photo.
