    PSS9 60mm conversion

    I am converting my e36 m3 PSS9 coilovers to 60mm springs.

Can anyone tell me what length springs to go with?

It looks like some are going 6" Front and 6" Rear.

and some are going 7" Front and 6" Rear.

Anyone happen to know what the stock PSS9 spring lengths are? So I don't have to take the wheels off.

    A few BMW's...
You typically want to run 7 in front and 6 in back.

6 in front is kind of short for any Bilstein without pulling them apart and trimming the internal bump stops down some.

street track 450front 550-600 rear. You dont want to run much more than 550 up front, 650-700 in back if you run 550 up front.

If you can take it apart you can make it faster!

7" Front and 6" Rear it is, thanks! I was planning on ordering 560 F and 672 R. You think this will be too much?

    Maybe I should go 504/616...

That should work good on track. May be a little stiff on street but not terrible. I run 550 front, 850 rear on my 325 touring.

Good info. I have been considering upgrading the springs on my pss9s. I also think I would be able to get away without spacers if I have the new springs. Wider rubber all around without having the raise the vehicle back up.

Do the H&R coil-overs and the Bilstein Pss9's use the same size springs and bump stops?
Trying to find softer / shorter bump-stops to fit inside the internals of the H&R / Bilstein struts.
Ground Control recommend doing this to help increase travel, and lessen to the amount the suspension rides on bump stops, since that is the typical characteristic of Bilsteins.
