    Generations of Change

I posted this on M3Forum earlier but I thought I'd go ahead and share it here as well.

This past weekend I ended up catching a ride in the YMB M4 for the Motor 4 Toys show in Woodland Hills. At the show I met up with my brother, who brought his e46 m3. After the other cars left, we decided to shoot some pictures of the the two cars. Then the e92 M3 pulled up and we had the partial evolution of M. It was pretty cool to see them lined up with each other and observe the differences between them. Anyways here are the pictures, I hope you enjoy them!

e46 looks so different from the other 2. I like the LTW low rise wing on it and the wheels.

As much as I like the m4 I'd take the e46 over both of those cars for sure

Just wait until you have driven one, you will hate how much you love it...

I still prefer the e46 out of this group myself.

Every M generation keeps getting bigger in every aspect. I always want to hate the new model, but end up loving them.

Cool cars, those pictures just reaffirm how much I feel like BMW missed on the styling of the E9x. The M4 though, is absolutely stunning.

Remove the spoiler from the e46 and it is by far the prettiest car there. The e92 kinda just disappears to me.

I was going to say... You should see the F80 M3 sitting next to the E36 M3 sedan. They are drastically different in size. Although - the F80 drives smaller than it really is. The new car is basically the same footprint of the E39 M5 however. It looks big because of the blocky lines and the ride height. If you lower it a bit it does make it look a little smaller.
