How to activate pathway lighting on 2007 BMW X3(E83)?

Hello, i have a 2007 BMW X5 and i can't seem to find how to activate the pathway lighting system. So when i turn off the car the light should stay of for 30-45 seconds.

Can anybody help me with a solution. The car has no navi computer, only a small one on the dashboard.

Do you have an I-Drive system? I cannot remember when BMW put it in every car, but you should be able to find it under the lighting in the I-Drive. If you don't have I-Drive, then you will need to be connected to either ISIS or Progman to turn on that feature, in other words the dealership or and Indy who has those systems.

That isn't possible, well unless you want to spend a heap of money to put one in. There are other options, but they all end with the two programs I said previously: ISIS or PROGMAN. This can turn on/off other functions, called key functions.

Go to the dealership, and have them program your car and key memory. Or, don't.

Try pulling the turn signal stalk towards you.

Thank you! This did the job. But it still can be configured to do it without pulling the signal stalk.
