Has anyone ever repaired cracked leather seats?

What is the putty that you use to repair cracks?
    Is it polyurethane? 2 part?

I've got a lot of work to do on my SAAB seats.

Well......I attempted to repair cracked leather seats! I have used the Leatherique Prestine Clean and Rejuvenator with very good success. I would recommend them. Based on that experience, I decided to attack my daughter's VW Cabrio seats using their crack filler and dye.

After a month or so......maybe two months......I've tried to forget:

Originally, they were not even cut......just scuffed and worn. It's like the product just attacked the leather and dissolved it. Maybe I did something wrong, but I used nothing other than what they sent me. Prep agent, crack filler, and dye.

I ended up taking them to a guy that did work on the weekend. He covered them in vinyl "leather" for $400. They still look like new after 5 years. I would go the vinyl route every time now, especially for a convertible. Feels like a Nappa leather.
