One Redline e31 shift boot



Boot trim/frame removed from old boot, and ready to be glued to the new boot with contact cement

Knob pictured is an f10 m5 illuminated zhp weighted knob

I had to free it from its boot, with some careful cutting, and use of snips to remove the plastic retaining ring.




I ordered the matching male pigtail from ebay, which I’ll hook up to power somewhere in the console area.

Right now I'm using an e46 m3 shift boot and zhp knob, and a peice of thick copper wire bent to emulate the frame which keeps the boot taught, however it doesn't click inside the center console. It just sits in there. It's not much of a problem, sort of a cheap solution if you will. The m3 boot and knob only costed me $50.
