Tool cabinets are from Newage and the workbench top is a maple butcher block top from Home Depot that I cut to fit and finished. I haven't posted this project anywhere.
Jim, the 33 is looking great. You don't see them often will full fenders. Seems most people are going for the no fender look.
The engine is from a W140 Mercedes and the transmission is from a 911. It'll go into a tube chassis that I will build. The chassis will borrow heavily from that used on the Radical RXC.
What lathe and mill did you get? I am looking to get one of which so I don't have to rely on a shop every time I need a machined part.

I really didn’t care for the look without fenders and running boards, although without them the build would be quicker and saved me $$$.
Your build based on the RXC is going to be sweet. Knowing your capabilities I expect you to hand form a CF, fiberglass, or aluminum body!
A friend of a neighbor I met last week has a Wolf that he races at Spring Mountain.

My milling machine is a Wen 33013 and the lathe is a MicroLux 85181.
If you’re looking for precision tools these aren’t the ones you want. They are ok for doing small parts and great on aluminum.
The lathe needs more power when machining steel unless you make small cuts.
Unless you are spending a lot of $$$$ on these tools they will be made in China. The lathe had too much backlash on the Y table and the X table on the Wen was dinged when it arrived. Both companies had distributors in the US and quickly sent me replacement parts.
Are you still driving this beast?? I just started buying parts to swap my slick top wagon and this thread has been an inspiration!
Yep. Its my daily driver in the summer and fall.

Schitzo, how’s that V12 project coming?
I’m way behind on the ‘33, too much traveling, other projects, and 540 maintenance I couldn’t put off any longer. New front Koni adjustable struts, rear ball joints, all 4 power steering lines, wash and clay bar the car, then take it in for a 4 wheel alignment.
Hoping to finishing painting the ‘33 and get it registered in the next month or so.

Hey man I saw your build, she is sweet. I got a question for the rear end did you have to do any kind of cutting or were the parts almost a fit? im not swapping the engine im using the m52b28 and ZF S5D 310z i just need help deciding a rear end and seeing what works out there and what ill have to spend to get it done.
V12 is coming along slow but is lots of fun learning new things outside of the LS world. Is the '33 done now?
Nothing is an "almost fit". The subframe needs to be modified extensively and you need custom axle shafts. Using a BMW diff is still the most practical option.

Schitzo, unfortunately it's not finished yet, but it’s getting close.
Just need to paint a little bit more.
