If you are dragging and drifting you will break the 188 diff or the output shafts and have to go to a 210 and the delicate and pretty cover that is helpful only on a track car will no longer fit.

You just buy a broken E32 750il, remove the diff and crush the car.
~Update~
Everything is back on the car and feels better than ever. But I decided to sell the fenders as I was too big of a p*%sy to drill my quarters. Instead, I purchased a set of Apex arc8s 17x9.5 et35 square. I'm still debating on tire sizes but I think I'm gonna go 255/40. I will post pics when I receive the wheels later in the week.

I've been so busy lately with a new job at work but I'm finally back! I decide to go with 255/40 dunlop star specs and couldn't be happier with the grip. The car hooks up so much better especially with minimal camber. I was gonna turn up the boost this year but with everything going on I doubt it will happen. I still need a clutch...

Last thing is to get a proper alignment so I can finally enjoy car season.
Why did you choose star specs? Ive been debating for while on what tires to go with.. 595 rsr, r888 for the rear, rs3s. Def looking on the cheaper side as this will be a daily hence the 595s.
Someone recommended a local shop to machine my head. They're pricing was good so I told them to check the valves as well. I should've turned around when they said they couldn't measure surface roughness. Long story short every valve leaked after their work but I got a head built by VAC and all has been good since. I've learned never go cheap on machine work.

Something new going here? Readed the thread all the way from post 1. Nice job with this e36
How much boost are you running now? I've got my base set to about 8psi with a high boost 15psi switch. rear tires are junk, getting new installed today. 1st and 2nd were useless on high boost mode. I'm thinking about replacing my old turbonetics bov with something I can actually buy parts for.
S52, OBD2 RK 60lb, cutring and spacer, ARP head studs, GT3582R, AA bottom mount, Tial 44mm WG, Tial QR BOV, Vibrant 3.5" IC, FX stage 4 clutch, hobbs switch meth injection, working AC, and 516 RWHP!

So,
How many miles on your build? Hows the car running? Psi?
Just saw this comment lol. Car has been running great until recently after sitting for about two months. At about 2k rpm, the car starts going lean and it continues into boost. I'm going to check the vac line going to the fpr and clean the maf to start. I'm currently running 18lbs off spring.
At what rpm are you seeing 18lbs? I'm thinking of going spa mani and 6266 or rsi and s366. The internal struggle I'm having haha.

485/425 is fun and relatively trouble free. Good result for an M52 at 17 psi with 6262. Stock cams or S52 cams?
Nice

Hey its been awhile since I've updated this thread. Still running on 18lbs(490whp) and the car has been running great. However, I've broken 2 non m axles within the last year so I've decided to start upgrading the drivetrain/brakes.
New brake setup
Porsche 996 calipers front/rear
Fronts machined 12mm by rally road to run 17" wheels
Cross bridges/bleed screws have been swapped on rears.
Rally road brake lines front/rear
e46 m3 non csl front rotors
e38 750il rear rotors. I've heard this gives correct hub diameter for proper ebrake adjustment
CM Motorsports adapters
Drivetrain
Free m3 front spindles, trailings arms, and axles(thank you Gary)
M3 subframe with AKG 75D subframe bushings
Rogue differential cover with with AKG 75D bushings front/rear
Going to run my old RTABS again
Wheel bearings, ball joints, e-brake shoes, ebrake cables, and dust shields all new
Now to the pics.....
If you notice one of the front subframe bushings was installed wrong. It was a long day but has since been fixed. Things left do...
-repaint all the calipers(don't know if I want to use brembo decals)
-brake pads...anyone know of a good set that don't cause squeal in the rear?
-install 75d diff bushings on the rogue cover
-wheels???...don't think the front 17x9.5et35 concave wheels that I have now will work. Yes I can use a spacer but I'd have to run a lot of camber. Cutting my fenders up isn't an option....
