I haven't shot anything other than work related photos for a while, so I figured I'd drag the Touring out and get some fresh shots for this year.
It doesn't look like I've done much compared to last year, but there's a few bits that people with a keen eye will notice - mainly on the interior, it has a lot of the Extended Leather in it now, as well as a re-trimmed M Sport headlining, M Sport leather seats, shaved passenger door lock and nearly all the exterior trim is new from BMW - things like the lights, grills and bumper trims.
Still have a bit of work to do, but she's getting there.
thats seriously one nice wagoooon

Few shots from RollHard Cressing. Such a good show. Makes me want to get the car even cleaner, the cars from Europe are just unbelievable, inspired to do better.
Two of my favorite shots from RollHard so far.
I've also tried spacing the Turbine covers from the wheel. This gives that super DTM style look of the old days, with the BBS Turbofan's etc. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I think they might look very cool.
My fresh new Turbine fan arrived from BMW. I'm so stoked. Proper nerded out when it arrived!
Been doing some testing over the bank holiday weekend with the M Systems. They seem to hold up pretty well being spaced out. My new bolts have arrived, so I'll be spacing the rears to match tonight.
But here's some pics anyway, cause they're a bit more interesting. Shouts to Steph Clarke for the super fancy ones!
I shot a couple quick photos whilst I was out this morning.
When can we start importing these to the states?!?!?!
Great looking car too!
Managed to grab another couple of fresh pics before I put the car away for winter. Plans and parts already accumulating for next year, so I'm looking forward to that, but for now, enjoy some pics I guess
Spent last weekend in Munich doing all things BMW. Went to the Museum and BMW Welt and visited BMW Classic before we came home. It was so good, happily do it all over again.
Here's some pics from my phone, I'll probably post a bunch more when I get a chance.
Got lucky at a dealership in Munich and BMW Classic, brought a load of plate frames back because they're cool as fuck.
Today I decided to start clearing up some of the wiring in my engine bay, so that it's ready for when I take it home at some point to have the engine bay painted. The left hand side is almost how I want it, just need to remove some unwanted brackets and neaten up the headlight wiring. The right hand side will need a lot more thought and work, as that is where all the headlight loom is.
I've got some engine raisers to fit as well as relocating the fuel filter, I'd like to take the car to Europe next year, so want to get these jobs done and out of the way for stress free driving.
Got round to fitting some engine raisers today. Bit of a fuck around from the get go and I've still a bit more to do.
Initially the thread on the engine mounts needed shortened, so took them to the work garage and set about them with the angle grinder.
Forgot to take after pictures, because I was stressed about how much of a shit job refitting them was, ended up moving the rack, separating the UJ and partially dropping the subframe. I have some before pics, so I'll take some more when it's all back together.
I also bought a super rare interior (for the UK anyway) from Germany which Bastien and hopefully myself are picking up next weekend. I'm really looking forward to having it in the car, I think it will look really great.
What interior did ya get? Car looks great... what is the purpose of raising the engine?

Thanks man! I'll hopefully have some pictures of the interior at the weekend.
I have raised the engine basically to reduce the chance of hitting the sump. My engine mounts are fairly new, so the engine sits above the subframe anyway, I just wanted to be extra safe, so it is now 20mm higher!
how does the trans fair with this raise?
