BMW E32 750il Dinan Twin Turbo value?

I realize wrong forum for body, but similar engine...
So, I have been looking for a bit and finally came across E32 750il Dinan twin turbo in nice shape, 142k miles but the engine had a top end re build along with the turbos. I was trying to gage what the car is really worth considering 2011 750il twin turbo is now getting down to 25k range...
So my question is if you had the money what would you offer for this car??

Well, I came across a 3-year old ad for $9k - I can't imagine that it would have appreciated in the meantime...

    Condition is everything.
    Paint, interior, drivetrain, suspension.
Well maintained? if not it will not be reliable!!
    Garage kept?
Location driven? California car (away from the ocean) for all the years? then under-carriage will be in better shape than one that spent years surviving the North-East winters.

You believe the engine is in good condition but the trans and diff have 142k with TT/M70 wearing them out.
Also the lower-end and cylinders are that of a boosted engine, so the life expectancy is less.
Also for me the color combination means a lot.

With 142k miles, I doubt it never was a Garage Queen so I anticipate the environmental wear and tear has been or will be taking a toll even if it is in good shape now..

What ever you pay is a gamble!!
Even if you got it for free it could cost you $10k+ in parts, in short order to keep it on the road.
I would only purchase it if it was something I wanted to keep and then I would pay what ever it takes because for the older BMW's the purchase price is likely to be the least expensive part of ownership!!

do you want a modern mass produced V12 luxury boat? or an old 1 of a kind sleeper luxury boat? Both have their own pros and cons, and neither are practical. Personal preference is everything here...

    The 2011 would be a V8.

Thank you guys! Excellent point of views, this is what I was looking for!
It's a silver exterior on tan interior..not the best. I was hoping for black on black.
the car is under the cover but I do not think it isgaraged it is located in one of the salt states but not driven in winter.
    Seller says no rust...
So the seller is pretty much not going down from 12k.....I just don't know...I was ready to give him 9k.
Maybe I just keep looking for the right 6 speed 850 to appear! (I know different cars!!!)

Cool car. I would take cash. Let the seller play with the cash, while you play with the car. He doesn't want the car anymore, so you may be surprised.
