Servotronic Diagnostics help on '08 650

    Have an '08 650.
Does anyone have ANY information on how to diagnose a "Servotronic Malfunction"?
Received the fault message accompanied with the heavy steering, so something is a miss.
I've scoured the internet and found very little or even close to nothing on how to diagnose the system.
I would really like to figure out what is broken and fix it, rather than just blindly replacing parts hoping it fixes the problem. Would also like to stay away from the dealer/indie for as long as I can.
    Thanks!

Most likely it's because your dsc unit is dying.
    Very common.
If you need help I can get you a company which repairs them pretty good.
Fixed about 20 cars like that
    Or buy new module 600$

Yes, thank you! I would appreciate any information you can pass onto me.
Where is the DSC unit located?
    Thanks again,

Get it scanned first, then post the faults.

It could be any of the following (most to least common).

Wire harness to the Servotronic converter solenoid

Servotronic converter solenoid on the rack

Fault with DSC module, but usually accompanied by other faults/issues
