Hello everybody! My name is Mikko, I'm from Finland and I though to indroduce my first "real build" here.
I've owned the car since 2006, I drove it one year and left it in the garage as a project. Years have gone by and the last two years I've been a little more active with the car. I think I now have a good plan to fulfill.

Great workman ship!
this is sick, great work
Whats behind you doesn't matter
Black E36 M3 - Blackbird
Silver 2007 New Body 2500HD - The Judge
very cool!
Thanks guys! I see our facebook page got a bunch of new followers, thanks for that too!
I have spent some time to design a fully adjustable front control arm kit for our cars, E30 and E21 (with E30 suspension). As they're all quite similar in E30/E36/E46 we asked if there's interest on such kit. We could produce few sets for the most common applications.
Adjusting possibilities based on the model:
0 to +30mm track width each side (camber)
0 to +15mm wheelbase (caster)
0 to +30mm anti-dive
10 to 30mm roll-center correction (with spacer)
-Lighter than stock
-Price around 1000$ (don't be scared, just a shy estimate!)
Any wishes? Let me know
Another type for drifting coming later..
Awesome work +1 like on your page too!
This is going to be mental when finished! Top work!
I hope so too
Fuel cell location had a makeover due to installing radiator in the firewall, it is now located underneath the chassis:

I cutted an aluminium cover for the fuel cell, I'll relocate fuel cap behind the number plate, so the cover will still see some additions. Tubes in the picture support rear wing and sway bar fastenings. They're not located quite ideally, but I believe body stiffness won't be a problem
Very nice!
Build Looks Great!
Really like what your doing, looking forward to more pictures.

Here's air intake for cabin heater, I'm going to use an universal heater unit. Water should run to direction of the blue arrow and red arrow shows path for air:
IC is also now mounted, heater will be bolted on top of it:
Wood workshop! Plywood model almost done, today I must check if the gear stick has enough room, you can't remember everything at once...
Finally we got the moped ready for the show:

..so again I had time for the car. Firstly I did some cutting to complete few welds, but also you'll see air duct for the IC radiator and rear brakes, as well as body needs to be widen couple of centimeters:

Few combined updates:
Passenger side needed an air duct too, which became as good as the other side. Here you can see the boxed subframe reinforcements:
A-pillars got reinforcements too with dimpled holes:
Aluminium bits to keep feet still and transmission/exhaust heat radiation away:

Today's update:
Finally I got all the seat mounts welded and made a bracket for a hand brake, it's time for paint soon!
Driver fits and driving position is somewhat cozy and roomy, I like:

Looks like a very promising project.
I'm looking forward to see it finished.
Dang. Killer work so far
Nice work so far.
Only comments would be: is there enough head clearance for a helmet? And also, have you considered a HALO seat?
Thank you very much
Few people have had doubt if there's enough space for the helmet, but yes there is, it just looks tight from sideview. The seat in the pictures has expired inspection and I'm going to use it as a passenger seat, driver's seat will be probably Sparco Circuit or similar.
Lately I've been working with the dashboard, firstly I photoshopped picture for reference. The ECU I've been thinking to buy has Android support so I could use 8-9" tablet as a dash:
After few modifications plywood model was ready in order to take a mold:
Mold turned out OK as it was my first bigger fiberglass project.. I also started to form foam models for the insets:
Next we should have a ready product
