good stuff.
I cracked the plastic around the front element on my 35 yesterday, lol. Still seems to work, but the focus ring is really gritty. Gonna have to send it in.

Dude, that sucks! Also, that LSB 6 is a beauty!
I don't like not having my 35... SOB.
-Dane
No complaints with mine before I dropped it, lol. On POTN, I started a thread on upgrading my 35 f2 IS for the 1.4L [V1], but everyone told me the f2 IS was the better lens, so I just continued to use it. I guess now I'll be forced to use my other lenses while I work on getting the 35 fixed.
I can now confirm that if I could only own 1 lens, that'd be it! It really shines when it's getting dark. I like to shoot wide open though, I think I'd have a ton of fun at 1.4. Someday.

Nice!
I love shooting wide open also on my 50 at 1.4, but i dont get to squeeze as much into frame due to the crop from my 70D
Anyhoo, I will be back here in less than two days to shred some pow pow.

That looks awesome, and I know what you mean! You should try a 35 on that APS-C sensor. I wasn't a fan of 50mm until I put it on my FF camera. Actually, a 24, 28 or 35 would all be great.
-Dane
Yeah, its pretty tight with the crop >.<
I will probably run for the 35 prime, as i want to get a FF body here soon, and already have the work-horse of a lens(e) 16-35L to cover me for everything under 35 ;P
Ah, nice. Somehow I became a prime shooter and always forget about the zooms. I live in my own little world, lol.

Nice shot! red tailed hawk?
Birds in flight are an awesome way to improve your "photo taking reaction" skills, as they fly over the sky the direction of the light source changes and you still have to track the bird and make sure you have enough speed to keep things in focus. I am working on some shots of hummingbirds, but they are elusive little bastards...
Just messing around with iPhone X studio filter.
I think it might be a Cooper’s hawk - not entirely sure though.
I’ve got some decent shots of birds, to include some in flight. Unfortunately I don’t have the disposable income to really invest in some good glass at this point. I’m shooting for early next year (2019).
Nice. Don't see PY too often these days.
My 5d isn't working quite right (AF is off), and nobody wants to touch it - they say it's too old. So I've been without a digital camera nearly a month now. Ha.
Another 5d, 5dII, or 6d are the current contenders. Prob going 6d.
