If I had a time machine I'd buy a 5dII over this 6d. I don't like it at all. Maybe I'll pick up another 5d in the future and just use the 6d at night.

Thanks. I liked the comp, but the color version just wasn't working. This asshole 6d won't let me shoot my primes wide open during the day.....1/4000 max shutter is dumb. Lol.



I got my 35mm f2 IS back from Canon - took two tries to get it right, and a whole month. I think it's like if you get in a car accident and a shop fixes it - it's just not ever the same again....
I'm just not convinced it's the same lens it was before. The trouble is that I'm using a different camera now. The old 5d still works, but the AF is way off.


Going to Europe in 11 days, so I guess it is what it is. I also just ordered 10 rolls of Portra 400 for the trip, lol.

Those are sweet. What focal length do you have to use to get that close?? I can barely keep my 135 steady enough to get shots of static objects, I can't imagine shooting something like that.

Anything between 400-600mm with minimal crop will get you really good close up, as the one above, it was @500mm and crop ~100% I'm shooting with D850 45MP
The combo I use D850+battery grip(big battery)+200-500mm lens weight ~8.8lb. With good/comfy strap, I can carry that sucker 6-8 hours easily, lol
