Took this yesterday of my car, double post for you guys if your in the e36 section (sorry bruvs) but I was just surprised as I shot this with my 70-300, Which is usually reserved for Hikes, Animals, Etc..

Hahaha, all good. That silly company has put itself back into the shitter once again, and I'm quite unsympathetic. It's kind of a touchy subject 'round here, and I'll just end with that. Lol.

Currently in Berlin for a shoot, had a day off so I rented this M3 and took it for a drive up to Greifswald, about 150 miles north of Berlin. Most of the drive is on the speed limit free autobahn... SO FREAKING AWESOME. It was an absolute blast to average almost 120mph for a nice long drive, with a few bursts where I pushed it to 160mph(gps).

Sweeeet, Looks familiar

Had an eventful weekend, a bit of a dump but its necessary.

Went out to Death Valley, to camp with some friends. Had a great time, took some sweet shots.

Artist Pallete, Much better at the Golden hour. Never got to come back at that time unfortunately. The Green, At least, comes from a magnesium rich terrain.

Bad Water Basin, Some dude tried to walk across the whole thing. Died, and when they found him he had mummified.





Under Natural Bridge



Also under natural Bridge, ive never seen this phenomenon before but its clear as day, the Shadow of the upper ridge under natural bridge forms a horse. Very specific time frame to for it to appear.

Pretty cool. I will be submitting this to the park for Shits and gigs to see if they will add it as an "Attraction" . toying with the idea of it being B&W

Turned in for the Night. Really pushing My cameras limits dealing with the multiple lights and Dynamic Range. Thinking i need to make the jump to Full frame soon.



Adjacent Campsite had much better view of stars, Surprised that 30 Sec was too long to expose on my 16-35. You can see that i started to catch trails , most notable on the little dipper.



Broke My Lens Hood back in Yosemite so i was constantly battling the Fire from Seeping into my shots, it made it in here but i liked how it came out anyway.



Next Morning, Went out to the gas station to get ready and head out, Turn the car off and i shit you not, it dumped about 5 gallons of coolant on hte ground. Thought, well that sucks. I couldnt Locate the leak, but tried filling res back up and it wasnt taking anything from it. Yikes.

Called AAA, they tried porking us at 10 a mile to get home, and home was about 300 miles away... Only one tow truck company goes out there and they were twisting out elbow hard. Was luckily enough to have AAA tow us to nearest tow truck stop in Parump Nevada. Coincidentally there was a Dodge dealership there. Unfortunately, the 5.7L cherokee water pumps are on a national back order (maybe theres a recall coming soon?) so we had to overnight one from napa to the dealership. At this point we are now having to rent a hotel and are stuck. Also, since it wasnt OEM pump, they had to get special approval for it not to affect our warranty. Keep that in mind.

Next morning, Dealer calls. " We got the pump from napa, but a dealership in Vegas Just got a Mopar pump so we cant authorize the napa any longer. It will be 700 Dollars for the Nappa pump, and we wont replace in the future since its non Mopar. Or we can wait for the vegas one to be here tomorrow and fix it then"

Pretty heated at this point. I am sure they saw the opportunity to bend us over for some $$$ and took it, unfortunately we didnt let that happen. Ended up having Vegas send someone out to drop off the pump that day. Had them put it on and we just signed a paper and got the ef outta there. It was BS because anytime i have ever been anywhere, and have asked for something not in stock, the first thing they do is "Oh well let me look if there is another store that has one, or might have one soon".

But yeah, Last shot about to get lifted on the Tow.



we went to death valley on friday night, didnt get home until yesterday at 10 pm. On teh Plus side, i got to go to a firework store, never seen one of those being from Cali.

You need to open the eye that is on the view finder in order to get a decent shot Also practice makes perfect. I have been practicing for over a decade, and I still can't seem to get a great shot.

On another note, I can't seem to get my Flickr pictures up. Tried embedding, share even BBCode and nothing seemed to work. I remember doing it before, just can't remember what I did (I usually just upload the pictures, but I would prefer Flickr).

For Flickr you have to grab the BBCode link, strip out just the URL and put it into IMG tags (I think this is right)
