My first foray into INPA with my '05 and I have 47 errors including the same 2 messages at the very top of the list-1B vvt error ecu service not supported; 1E vvt2 error ecu service not supported. The car runs fine, but the dash is all lit up. While I'm too green to help you out, would appreciate it if you would keep the thread going and let us know what you find and how fixed. Cheers.

So I've learned a bit to share....the 1B and 1E VVT1/2 errors are meaningless. Apparently INPA cannot read the (2) VVT modules as there is no info to read. They are apparently very simple, maybe just a data table providing output to control the VVT actuator. Point being the fact that INPA can't read them takes us both back to the ECU-EWS alignment error. My '05 745Li E66 now cranks but won't start, the error code is 2F44 EWS Manipulation Prevention/Wrong EWS telegrams received. Does yours crank ?

Yes, but it will not take using inpa for some reason. So I'm trying to get easydis44 going but 'tis a very slow learning process.

Got it squared away by 'aligning' the CAS module under the body section instead of using the EWS-ECU alignment under the engine/N62 section.

Hey guys I had the same problem crank and no start. After the battery went dead. I used INPA to solve my problem. Under Body Section go to CAS, F6=Activate, F4=Reset ECU. I reset the ECU car started rite up. 2005 745i E65.
