    One too many 's'es in the post. Comfort for the passenger. But that is cool, a buffalo sport seat. Like to see the build sheet (or lat 7 of the VIN) for that one.

    Know how to get the alarm working if i don't have the key? Isn't that just a recovered e30 sport seat? Looks like it sits up high.

    Magnetic Key is brains behind it, seems to me the module's capacitors crap out keeping it from functioning. Sounds like cruise control right?

    I had my cruise amp rebuilt with a guy from the MB site that is going to give the alarm box and a spare 013 that is dead a go at repair.
    I make E23 parts.

    These bolters are much deeper than an e30 seat. This looks more like the Recaros out of the early 6 series. Super comfy seats, tough to find. I believe this was an option.

    Yeah it is thicker than e30 seats, but not recaros. How come it sits high and only has driver seat?

    That is why I would like to run the VIN through BMWArchive and find the build codes. BMW offered a single sport seat in the E24 and may have for the E23.

    Option Code 481, BMW sports seats in front. So dual sport seats.

    Not 480 (drivers BMW sports seat) or
    485 Recaro sports seats in front.

    There were no listings for 482, 483, 484 so that left some numbers for BMW to make other options available like Recaro Buffalo Leather Sports Seat for Driver only. Maybe the OP will come back with more info on his cars.
