Normgrills.net down (and perhaps out)

Hi all - at one point or another you've probably checked one of the sections in Normgrills.net for maintenance and troubleshooting help, since it was a nice (if somewhat random) collection of "how-to" articles. Recently a bigcoupe.com member noticed the site has gone dark, which isn't too surprising since it apparently hadn't been updated in several years.

In anticipation of this (yes I'm a shark nerd ), a few years ago I converted the website into a single PDF (gotta love Acrobat!).

Here's the link to this doc in my public Dropbox folder, which I'll keep up for as long as I have the account:

When you open the PDF, make sure you view with Bookmarks, which should direct you to the section you need.

I noticed the site was down last week. Sad because I have referred many, many people. Thanks for taking the time to compile the PDF. This is "essential" to every E24 owner.

Thanks for the link, Ray. I've also benefited from the internet archive in the past, but occasionally found that the graphics were missing. So in this case I decided to be paranoid and create my own copy.

I recall those sections being originally unlinked for some reason. Perhaps he set them all up when he started the site, but they didn't get populated as he grew the site organically... that's what it looks like at least. I checked the archive.org link that rlkrlk provided, and those sections are unlinked there as well.

Thanks, Paul, nice work, and the PDF is sometimes handier for search and/or offline use. I have a mirrored copy of Norm's invaluable notes online at http://hermitagewood.com/bcg/. I've done minimal updates, and should include updates to let perusers know that neither the emails to Norm or the mailing list will work.
