Sorry, I dont follow this thread much as there are much more active ones elsewhere.....Im sure you already got your answer but yes, but its the E60 unit, there is a thread about it on the E60 subforum as I recall.

Hmmm..that's weird. I emailed you guys and got a response saying those units were discontinued. I hope I wasn't misinformed because I just spent 900 on a dealer refurbished ccc. Would've loved to purchase a dynavin for my 550 instead.

Not sure if you sent your email to me or someone else as I would not have told you it was discontinued....I may have said it was unavailable though....its being redesigned and updated to dynavin's newer N6 platform but that is still an unknown ETA.

You would still need a functioning CCC as the dynavin E60 unit is an add-on to the existing system, so it all needs to be there and in good working order.

I have had an N6 in my e46 working pretty nicely for about 8 months. Today it stopped working completely. All I get is a white screen with a handful of vertical colored lines. I have tried disconnecting the main harness cable and re-connecting, but that did nothing. If I play with the buttons, it looks like I am getting it to re-boot; the screen goes dark, and then the white screen with the lines re-appears.

Any ideas as to what I should try? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Where did you purchase the unit from? if from Jeff, then provide your details and I'm sure he'll offer some support/options. If you purchased elsewhere, new and with a receipt, then contact the seller and I wish you good luck in getting support and help. If you purchased used/2nd hand, then you'll need to send the unit in to an electronics specialist for them to have a look to see if they can find the issue and then pay for that investigation time and then any new parts etc if a fault is found.

I did not buy it from Jeff, but it IS still under warranty. I was just hoping someone might have an idea of what was wrong, and perhaps a possible solution, before I yank it out of the dash and mail it in.

Hi,

It's not possible to fault find without taking a look inside, it could be a loose PCB connection, a failed TFT panel, faulty PCB, faulty component etc etc.

Contact the seller you purchased from and they should look after you.

Is there anyway of interfacing a satellite radio receiver with the N6? For all of its other integrated features, it seems this one is missing!

Generally we advise to just use the SiriusXM app on your phone and stream to the unit via bluetooth, same as pandora, spotify, etc...
