    well i was lazy for a while but it was 60 degrees in Md this past weekend and rounded up the crew and began to attack the rear subframe job

    First the rear needed to be tooted up




    then i see a few troubling parts that needs replacement



    started by removing the exhaust. super easy just 2 vbands.






    removed the diff




    stuff everywhere




    dog bones are in bad shape. these had original part numbers on em






    Subframe removed




    views as dark start to set in




    so now it is time to marshmallow some rubber but it seems this side of the subframe had a tweak so i heated it up to hammer it to be more cylindrical to fit the new bushing










    the subframe bushings where easy to remove. the 3 diff bushings needed alot of heat. no problem










    a whole bushing came out in one whack. placed it here out the way







    So far all 5 bushings are removed and the poly bushings are now inserted. 3 diff bushings and 2 subframe bushings. the one main diff bolt is also replaced.

    subframe wont go back till Saturday. so in the meant time i will clean up some of the rust on the frame paint it while its out. may paint the diff. fluid was changed back in 2016 so I don't think i will be reopening it. don't want no new leaks to happen

    picks of the prep process while be up later this week. if no rain i will try to have it all done by Friday Morning. new dog bones and sway bar links should be here by Friday as well

    Ok so it's been 2 years since I updated this

    And you guys should know there was alot of bs after doing the subframe stuff.

    I had to run new rear brakes lines,

    New fuel lines since I'll be using E85 (an8 feed an6 return)

    Flex fuel is setup

    Launch control and anti lag setup.

    Infotainment setup

    Swapped my 3.64lsd for a 3.46lsd

    New gast tank
    Car has been street tuned.

    Car has a bigger turbo

    Installed a PPF Cam

    Bigger throttle body and stronger intake plenum

    Added oil cooler.



    And have alot of pictures to add. But it looks like the pictures disappeared?

    Car will be dyno tuned in August now all old car problems and engine quirks have been worked out. I'll get to the pictures when ever I get time
