    1043 030 045 used on 850 from 04 /1990 - 01 /1993, gear code HQ, NT: 2400 - 1218796; AT: 2400 - 1218797

    see page 387 http://avtgr.ru/data/pdf/Technical_data_2015-07-31.pdf
and it says "Ersatzmöglichkeit durch..." = replaceable possible by.... under E31 850 M70B50

If I understand it right, it is possible. Maybe someone else can comment on this to make sure.

If you search the data file for 1056 000 073, it shows 1056 000 075 in the replacement column. I know that to be correct because I have exchanged them. But in the case of the 1043 030 041, that column is blank. Realoem usually says if the transmission is replaceable retrospectively but that information is missing in this case. It is also too old to be listed in the ZF Reman. Transmissions brochure. While there is the slightest doubt, it may be best to contact ZF and ask them.

Went to Real OEM with both SN

Only Difference I see is that gear ratio for the potential donor is a 3:15 versus what mine should have of a 3:64. Because of the different PN the Internal Gear Ratios of the transmissions I assume are different?

    Any idea how different?

    Donor CB03304 1043 030 041 used on 850 from 01/1990 - 07/1992 gear code GY, Rear Gear Ratio of 3.15 PN 24001218675
    Mine CB73041 1043 030 045 used on 850 from 04 /1990 - 01 /1993, gear code HQ, Rear Gear Ratio of 3.64 PN 24001218797
