F1 is coming back this coming weekend after a long summer break and this time we go full speed at one of the longest track of the season at Spa-Francornchamps. One of my favourite racing tracks. I suspect that we are not going to see a lot changes or surprises from the teams as the pace will most likely remain the same although one would hope or think during this summer break teams are working closely and quietly reassessing their performance and making substantial changes and expect to see huge gains in a matter of few weeks. As far as I know during this three week break, teams only work for one week while taking their vacation for two other weeks. Hence, there's hardly anything that they could have done to bring out more performance. Yet in the end, we never know ....

My favorite race of the season is finally here!!!
I hope to see Williams continue to improve on its pace, and this may be a track that suits them based on speed alone. Otherwise I agree the pace will be consistent with the season to date and not much change should be expected.
Ah yes, the best race of the season in the most beautiful area. Go Niko.
Lets get the party started before it's my bedtime.
Not even these sucky, flatulent spec. racers can diminish the most awesome course on the schedule.
If you can leave two black stripes from the exit of one corner to the braking zone of the next, you have enough horsepower. - Mark Donohue
I cut my cable subscription, so am wondering what are the online options to view this race live (maybe not so great for my timezone) and/or downloadable after the events?

Torrent sky sports after the race, but I imagine there is a stream somewhere. Hell I watched the German grand Prix on a Lufthansa flight so I'm sure there is a way to stream it.
In other new Max Vorstehanmanfhjfjkafu (sp?) Has been signed by toro rosso and will take JEVs spot. Kinda sucks for JEV but he should be able to find another team to drive for next year. Maybe FI.

You will see the links on race weekend. You will also get to see the race from SkySports coverage too. One cautionary advise I shall give you is to have/download AdBlock Plus in your add-ons manager in order to avoid countless advertisements.
After I watch the race I wait for a couple of days and download race torrents in 720p with the help of google search.
I thought I saw a discussion in the not so distant past, just couldn't find it. Thanks for the link and pointers.
Now to make it work.

Uh.... the discussion was about methods to watch F1. The 'now to make it work' is based on my initial problem of getting Stream Torrent downloaded!

Here's a link to where you can download the 2014 races along with the three practice sessions, qualifying rounds, the race, different channels like SkySports and others, SkySport's pre and post show discussions. And you can even download it in 720p and I think 1080p. They are not a single torrent file but rather a broken-into or part by part files. Takes quite a bit of time honestly and that's why I simply google serach for downloadable torrents straight away in 720p.

Just watched 1992 and 1993 F1 races at spa, even tho I knew who would win it was still very exiting to watch. I doubt that 2014 will be that much fun, we will see
So, which one?

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember seeing Boutsen and Senna battling out for a couple of laps where Boutsen was playing hard to keep Senna behind not until after a few laps when Senna was close enough after Eau Rouge that he overtook him. It was raining too.

He really should have never left his spot at Ferrari.
Yeah, Kobayashi is not racing this weekend but I don't know if he is totally out for this season.
http://www.formula1.com/news/headlin...4/8/16224.html Rossi to drive instead of Chilton
Hope he does OK and does not make a Maldonado out of himself.American rookie Alexander Rossi will make his Grand Prix race debut this weekend in Belgium after being drafted in as a late replacement for Max Chilton at Marussia.
The team said Chilton, who has raced for the Banbury-based squad since 2013, was being substituted "while contractual issues are resolved".
