Reach out to me once you start. Depending on the build year coding can be a pain. Also if you want better than new e36 shift lever performance i can let you know what parts to get as far as zero wiggle in gear, short throw and zero notchiness. Coming from 2 oem e36 manuals i live the way this set up is 100x more.

The downside to purchasing a 20yr old car with only 60k miles on the clock, my vcg went, so i just replaced that. O2 sensor up next. Look at that top end though.

Its quite the laundry list. Various seals and teflon bushings from ecs tuning. Also new oem m3 shift linkage and selector rod, z3m shift arm. Attached is my order summary for reference. The shifter rebuild/upgrade kit as well.

Driver's side front door lock actuator so I don't have to climb in and out of the window like a NASCAR driver. And air filter, cabin filter, and fuel filter.

Passenger & Driver exterior door handles, gaskets, trim, an extra key (all coded), and a brake switch. Definitely not looking forward to replacing ANY of that =/

Hahahaha. I got the old actuator out and the door unlocked, but the door will still get stuck locked if I lock it, even without the actuator installed... I'm afraid to install the new one in case it doesn't fix it. Unlocking it isn't easy when it gets stuck!

What does add/restore a ton of HP is installing new precat O2 sensors and new air filter (which looks like it had never been changed)! This car is amazing to drive, even with my "VANOS Mechanically Stuck".

p.s., if you accidentally swap the connectors for your O2 sensors you'll know in about 30 seconds of driving!

You better get that glove box soon before it gets re-appropriated

FIX the VANOS and you'll really bust a nut, I went with the Besian System components, straight forward and not difficult. Single VANOS on the S52 in the 98 M3.
