Added Active Autowerke headers, new Zimmerman rear rotors, 12.5mm rear spacers, negative camber, and got that booty sounding good now. Nothing restricting the exhaust, she's free to breathe.
Also threw it on the dyno.

I'd like to first say thanks in advance for all that I've learned from this site, the feedback, contributors and moderators.
I'm new to commenting but I'm stuck and looking for guidance. I have a 97 M3 coupe w/ 210k but it drives like it has 70k, bought in CT and Im now in LI NY. I bought it from some1 who was a mechanic and did work to it to keep it running great. It came with mods like uuc muffler, 95 intake manifold, air intake, after market clutch to name a few.
With that being said(which all trouble started here), the car came with aftesr market headers. I had them put in but the mechanic said it will have to be cat-less to install but the cats were done for anyway. So time goes, I moved to NY, I want to register the car and have to get cats to pass emmissons. I search out universal cats from Magnaflow. I even spoke to a tech that I need 2 of these(see pic) because I'm in NY. I took his word for it, ordered them and had a shop installed them. A quick little inject, I drove the car 34miles-42mins to the muffler shop, the car ran great, no issues at all and really enjoyed the ride and looking forward to enjoying it for the summer.
After about 4hrs I leave and right away the car doesn't want to go past 3k rpms, it barely had any power, a loud and bass-ie sound the whole ride home(well almost home). I pulled over right away because I was shocked and afraid. I have it in neutral, I'm revving the engine and it sounds great, I gas it up to 5k rmps with no issues at all. So I take off with the same issue, I get to abut 29miles, at a light the clutch doesn't return and the car shuts off.
I get the car to my guy, we find the hydraulic was cracked and that's why the clutch didn't work. I went to pick up the car today from him and I went to leave and clutch felt better but the'no-power, no rmps past 3k' issue came up again. It started to drive great again but then I couldn't get the car past 2nd gear. I felt the same things I did when leaving the muffler shop but without the only difference was no loud bass in the cockpit. So that's where I'm at. I returned the car, my tech wasn't there and he has no cell service where he is currently. Any thoughts?
P.S. I replaced the ball joints for the front control arms with a hydraulic pump for taking them out and putting in the new ones. The new ones I used are the same ones used for an E30-M3. Btw I found the thread for it here *Again, thanks to all

Got my wheels and tires on, BBS RGR 18x8ET35 and 18x9ET45. Yokohama A052 225/40/18 front 255/35/18 rear. I brought the car to Fender Defender near Irwindale for rear fender trim, the guys did great work and there's nothing visible on the exterior. Looks 100% stock but I have around 20mm more clearance now, fantastic!
I've had the same set up for 5 years so I recently started buying upgrades.
New fuel pump sending unit
New fuel level sending unit
RR 340 LPH stealth fuel pump kit
New gaskets
Euro upper radiator cover
Brey Krause fire extinguisher mount
CES 3" stainless TB elbow
Billet M50 manifold ICV fitting
Mishimoto Z3 X-Line radiator w/ 16" Spal 2470 CFM fan
Stewart water pump
ECS water pump pulley
MS3Pro PNP ECU
Treadstone TR1245 Intercooler
666 bottom mount and wastegate tube
Borg Warner S364SX-E turbo
3.5" stainless exhaust w/ Magnaflow muffler
Turbo E36 M3 with all the things..
Nice...
I've recently changed work locations and one of the perks of that is, I get to drive one of my favorite canyon roads each day. Since then, I've found myself opting to drive the M3 more often then not. That being said I wanted to change up my interior a bit with some different, maybe, "gimmicky" items. These items, are in addition to the not so gimmicky stuff the car has shown me she is in need of that should be arriving in the next week or so.
Gimmicky stuff includes,
An e46 multifunction three spoke sport steering wheel to pair with the single stage airbag from the Z3 three spoke sport steering wheel I already had. It's off being recovered.
The F80 "MPower" e brake handle.
The F10 M5 6 speed illuminated shift knob. I love this item, it made such a difference.
The Z4 3.0 shift lever and bushing. IMO, this is too short. The throw is cool, however the actual shifter length in the cabin is too short. I will likely opt for the RE instead.
An E90 sunglass holder to go where the caps are for the drivers side "oh shit" handle on the hardtop.
A right hand drive, convertible, interior door pull handle to match the one on the passenger side. (This was a PITA to get)
The OEM interchangeable puddle lights for the bottom of the doors. (I'm not sure about these as installing them will require me to cut out rectangles in the bottom of my aluminum LTW doors)
I installed the led mood lights from the e39/e38 in my dome light and door handles.
And I picked up some low mileage OEM Z4 M coupe mufflers for my upcoming/ongoing S54 swap that I've been acquiring parts for.
The other stuff,
New wheel beraings, all four.
The Rally Road transmission brace.
The Bimmerworld transmission mounts.
Some "while I'm under there" stuff, including,
New exhaust and muffler hangers,
New Guibo and center support bearing.
An E34 steering u-joint.
And a new Zionsville expansion tank to replace the one that was damaged when my black E36 was totaled a couple years ago. Its the only item thats been holding me up from transfering over my Mishimoto radiator, stewart water pump, spal 1610, 80° T stat, and the rest of the FDM from my black car to the vert.
Should be a fun couple weeks with a little bit of profanity here and there, primarily from the wheel bearings R&R if past history is any indication.

Found a good set of HK door speakers and trim locally to replace a blown mid and cracked tweeter trim. So nice to have full sound and no more eye sores.

Bought some new engine and transmission mounts from UUC (rubber oem+), vorshlag RTAB limiters and rtabs, and an AKG rtab reinforcement plate. Now I need to do more research on what diff, rear subframe, and fcabs to get.
Bought;
Intake Manifold Gaskets
ICV to manifold hose and plastic neck
Brake Booster line
Hose clamps for soft fuel lines at manifold and rail
FPR vac line (completely compromised)
Throttle body gasket
A Few other odd vac lines
My missing studs for my coil packs (4 in total)
And I'm doing all of this because my NEW starter came in. Gonna be a bitch from what I've read but I got a 6 and 10 inch extension and swivel u joint for the manifold. And a solid e12 torx socket and a long handle 3/8 drive ratchet for the starter. Time to break some knuckles tomorrow.
So, my car sat for a year but started once a week. I bought: Liqui Moly 5w30 oil service kit, Engine flush, bosch spark plugs, rein intake boot (old one is ripped), hood shocks, Meylerear shock mounts, bump stop, reinforcement plates, coolant and the rubber thing for the license plate screw. ALso, a battery right after purchasing the car. I've bought this car 4 years later.... Coming from a long list of E39 530i's and one M5. This M3 shares the garage partially with the M5 (M5's spoilt and is in storage)

I installed it last Sat. I like it, the pedal feels much more solid and engaging/disengaging the clutch is a lot faster. It also lowers the clutch pedal a bit and puts it closer to being in line with the brake pedal.
My car is missing the clutch stop (not for long) so I'm used to pressing the pedal basically to the floor, I feel like after I install an adjustable clutch stop I'll be able to tell the difference a little more.
Before purchasing it, I read that depressing the pedal would be harder and there would be a period of having to get used to the faster ratio. Honestly, I haven't noticed any of that. I feel like it changed the daily driving feel of the car in a positive way with no downside thus far.
The two things I would mention are, when moving the master cylinder on my car the fluid connector on the top of it popped out dumping brake fluid all over my carpet, I'd be aware of that. It's probably because my car is old and I wasn't aware of that possibly happening. And, the pedal return compression spring on my car would no longer fit without being completely compressed so I removed it entirely. Luckily, I have my 325i to steal parts from so I took the return spring from it, otherwise, you may need to get one.
