It bothered me that only the front door was labelled.

Just in time for the holidays.
A few shots of my coupe after bath time, as well as a shot from the Red Door Meet car meet in downtown Portland on Sunday the 14th. It looks so much happier when it's clean!!
Blanked the plate for the car meet page, but too lazy to do it for you lot...
After about 2 months off not having time to wash her

this is now, w/ matching satin black vinyl on the trunk panel:
hrmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
vinyl'ed trunk panel is better than glossy factory black for sure but... God it really did look great in silver... Or at least it would if my hardtop weren't black...

Here's one of me leaving the last Cars and Caffe of the season a couple months ago.
It does seem a bit off. I think if the car was lower and the hardtop was off, it would look a lot better. The black panel has the visual effect of making the car appear wider and lower and with the stock suspension it takes away that aspect and just makes it seem "incomplete". My car and the other car with the black panel you pictured were both lowered.
Theres my professional level photoshop job for you (don't mind the tear in the fabric of spacetime). I also tried to give the effect of spacers... I gotta say, lowering it like that makes such a huge difference.

Daaaaaaaaaamn... yeah I gotta make that happen...
Would I HAVE to go to coilovers in order to dial in that precise of a drop?
oh and thank you for adding the stars and distant galaxies to indicate the tear in space time haha

There's an invisible house behind your car!!! lol
Unsure on the coilover question. I usually stick to struts and lowering springs or OEM. Probably the Coupe will be my first foray into coilovers and I'm a little apprehensive since it always seems to be "well if you get that, you'll want these, and those camber plates will help with this and you'll need this too" and suddenly a $1,500 suspension upgrade is $5,000.

poordna, I'm looking at something more like this, similar to what Robholio has:
http://www.turnermotorsport.com/p-41...pring-set.aspx
with Bilstein Sport or HD
The way I look at it (track rats dont h8) is I'm happy enough on the stock suspension, so my goal with struts and springs is to lower the car to where I want it to sit for aesthetic reasons without sacrificing anything performance wise. Eventually I imagine I'll graduate to coilovers, but... baby steps....
