Yes as mentioned above they are style 42 comps. 2 piece. 17x8.5" in the back and 17x7.5" in the front. They are stock and came on the car.

vinyl'ed trunk panel is better than glossy factory black for sure but... God it really did look great in silver... Or at least it would if my hardtop weren't black...

It's better for sure....but I like the silver!

It does seem a bit off. I think if the car was lower and the hardtop was off, it would look a lot better. The black panel has the visual effect of making the car appear wider and lower and with the stock suspension it takes away that aspect and just makes it seem "incomplete". My car and the other car with the black panel you pictured were both lowered.




Theres my professional level photoshop job for you (don't mind the tear in the fabric of spacetime). I also tried to give the effect of spacers... I gotta say, lowering it like that makes such a huge difference.

Unsure on the coilover question. I usually stick to struts and lowering springs or OEM. Probably the Coupe will be my first foray into coilovers and I'm a little apprehensive since it always seems to be "well if you get that, you'll want these, and those camber plates will help with this and you'll need this too" and suddenly a $1,500 suspension upgrade is $5,000.

The spring/shock setup I run sits pretty close to that (H&R Race springs, Bilstein HD).

Haven't tried the H&R coilovers. Mine rides very smooth for how low it sits with the spring/shock setup, though.

The way I look at it (track rats dont h8) is I'm happy enough on the stock suspension, so my goal with struts and springs is to lower the car to where I want it to sit for aesthetic reasons without sacrificing anything performance wise. Eventually I imagine I'll graduate to coilovers, but... baby steps....
