my one plus one just arrived, good excuse to take some pictures.
Not happy with the results, I'll need to experiment with it for a while. Samsung's camera software is wayyyy more idiot proof.
The first picture is actually pretty good - especially considering the position of the sun. Surprised. Any after shot editing?
The second picture features too much shadow.
Is there any ability to turn down the dynamic contrast, or whatever is boosting the darker regions? That should give you some "better" results, perhaps. Also, composing the frame so there is less background and surrounding setting should give the sensor less discrepancies between high and low lights, helping even contrast results. Finally, is there a way to adjust metering mode? It looks set at a "matrix"esque state, and switching to something more like center weighted or spot metering should help further.
I dunno.

Only editing done was cropping. The camera software has a TON of "presets."
Front shot, I want to say that was on "Auto."
The shot of the rear was either "stabilized mode" or "smart scene" I can't remember.
There's also an HDR mode which I wish I'd remembered to try out.

shoot im not sure what mode that was
confused
Portrait or macro modes will most likely switch to center weighted or spot metering if the sensor and software have it as a feature - if said option isn't selectable separately.
Also, HDR would be somewhat beneficial if you fill the frame with your subject more. You want to have as little background as you need instead of relying on cropping. It'll produce more accurate colors. HDR will display "intense" color regardless of lighting. Or it'll attempt to. Use it sparingly if it's not a part of your style.

Nice!!!!
Sviru, did you retrofit those angel eyes yourself? Do you have pics looking directly at the front of your car with them on and off? Normally I'm not a big fan of the halos on our cars but with all the polished metal accents, yours fit beautifully!

As winter approaches, it becomes convertible weather in Florida, the opposite of most of the country. Today is in the 70's and low humidity, perfect 'vert weather! It's nice to have a respite from 90's with ~90% humidity.

Stuff. I got stuff.
Last chance to get a picture after washing it... Started raining about an hour later.
<edit> I should have gotten OEM clear corner markers... eBay ones look awful

Yes I did it myself! Those are 4x108mm led 120SMD rings - full circle - very bright during the day. It took some time to do it but i think it is well worth it. I couldn't decide if they should be installed before or afther the lens... Finaly I decided to install in front because it looks better - light fron the halos is sharp like in new BMWs. Behind the lens it looked ok but the light was distorted. If I would do this again I might try it behind so it looks totally oem.
Here is a straight photo with them on - on the lowest brightness - (I have radio remote control to for dimming and turning them on and off)
On the picture old 2.8 bumper with rieger lip - the hood is not closed on the right side so might look weird.

I'd love to see an angel eye solution that had the exact shape of the chrome rings on the later headlights. The above is the best I've seen with full rings though
