Spent some time with a box of tinsel and zip ties to dress up the car for last nights Xmas charity run. Great tops off run in 30C weather then a starlight trip home after dinner. It's going to be a long hot summer.
The hood/bonnet tinsel handled the 100 kph speeds surprising well. Think I'll leave it on the car until Xmas is over.

There is only one thing more pleasurable than working on a Z3, that's driving it top down on a fine day.

Figured i would get some shots while the weather was awesome
If that would be my car, I would remove that non-functional tow hook and add some spacers to the wheels to make them flush...
I'm trying to source that cover that goes over the tow hook. The car came like that and I don't want a hole to be there. I thought about mounting my front plate there as it is a requirement for Texas.
About the wheels, i'm not really wanting to spend any money on them as I don't rather like them and will look to sell when I can find some 18's I want. There is little to no traction and the ride is rough.

Thinking about some vinyl or plasti dip...

If you want some M livery on your M Coupe, I think replicating the livery from the last production M coupe or from one of the Z3M coupe racecars would be much cooler than just slapping an M stripe on the car

Who cuts their own vinyl? I had a friend who runs a local graphic shop quote me like $150 for a full vinyl front left and rear right like the last production M coupe...
They put it in a plotter that cuts it, then you just apply it to the car...

Late to the party on this one. Here's a pic of our newly acquired 2000 Z3. Steel grey with tanin red interior. Only 42K miles.

Beautiful gfish!
The day mine was delivered from out of state. And, after detailing.
The red exterior/black interior is so classic. Absolutely stunning.

Looks pretty bad ass, especially next to that 53? Ford.
