Yesterday's photo...though it is definitely summertime (~90 degrees here outside Philly), the car was in the shop a couple days (and likely parked outside awhile), so I put on the hardtop for better security.
On the way back, I figured I'd take a snap of the hardtop and new wheels. Also had new rubber put on the rear this week, and last week I blacked-out the roundels (which were 100% weathered to silver). BMW is visible upon close inspection, but otherwise, they are fairly stealthy. I think this view shows clearly how the new wheels and rear spacers fill out the flares. I just need to lower this a smidgen now.

New to this section - just picked up this JDM import 2.8 Z3 coupe. I've already begun gathering parts for a manual conversion, and I'm removing some of the mods done by the previous owner (mostly wiring stuff, power outlet splitters, some kind of audible nav system etc)
I need new roundels all 'round, the cheap carbon ones are brutal. Also looking for fresh kidneys.

Hi all. I recently purchased this M Coupe in early July from fellow Bimmerforums member ScottMZ3, and have been really enjoying my time with it since. He really did a fantastic job of maintaining the car--it's in great shape. I've been lurking the Z3 forum for a few weeks now and feel like I need to contribute!
Now, on to today's pic...

Good luck with the conversions/reversions.
So, your car was in Japan? As an American, I'm fascinated by what comes to North America via Japan. We have an exemption after 25 years, so nothing as new as a Z3 comes into the USA unless it was federalised here. The idea of a car made in South Carolina, going to Japan as new, then residing in Canada somehow makes me smile. It's unfortunate so many great cars outside the USA are not feasible here.
Pretty stock but I love it

I don't think I've posted a proper photo yet. Anyway, I took some today after fixing something that kept bugging me, so here goes:
No more cracked heads.
No more oil leaks.
No more rattling valves.
No more excessive temperatures.
