2001 bmw z3 car sat for 3 years no lights on in dash before now am having issues with airbag light 6 faults and will not reset

Give people more information too. How many miles? What options? What fault codes are you gettting? What scan tool are you using? Other relevant service history?

In the The Z3 Diagnostics Thread: Instructions, Experiences, Discussions, Experimentation thread, there is info on how to add the ability to pull the actual BMW codes using a PC (preferably a laptop) and a USB to OBDII adapter and the OBDII to BMW 20-pin adapter.
I should really set it up on my new laptop, but to do that, I'd have to figure out where my laptop is...
