Reputable Brake booster/servo shop needed on the east coast please

    Hello,

This is not for my 1988 M6 that I am in need of a reputable brake booster/servo rebuild shop on the east coast for but that one will be coming soon. I recall reading recently on here about them but have done a search with no success. I would assume that if they can rebuild an M6 booster they can also do the one on my 1972 Triumph STAG. I've got the rebuild kit on the way but, don't know anyone I trust in South Florida to do it nor does anyone down here really want to do it. I recall recently reading about some place in either North/South Carolina or GA area. Hopefully they do more than just BMW units and someone can point me in the right direction since we are all gear heads and a classic car is a classic car.

Sorry for posting a non E24 BMW related request but this is by far the most helpful and resourceful forum I have ever been a part of. I may be leaning on you guys for a little more help as I get my 72 STAG back on the road. I have seen plenty of group buys on here for custom fabricated parts in the past. There are many NA parts for the STAG….anyways I'm digressing...

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Regards

    booster rebuild kits

    Hi Max,

ATE and BMW do not offer a rebuild kit for the hydraulic brake booster servo.
So I doubt that there is one for your Triumph.
Who is the maker of your Stag booster?
Is the Stag a hydraulic or a vacuum system?

As you probably know I am one that sell's a booster repair kit and a repair service for the Bimmers.
See my Footer, if you ever need help on your m6.

Have you tried any of the British Classic Car Forums? I have several MG's and have found them to be every bit as good as here.

Go to Barnes and Noble and buy a Hemmings Motor News, a monthly magazine. In the front is a section called services offered. You will find somewhere around 5 guys around the country that rebuild brake boosters
