Question Need help deciding on what kind of drift car to get

I currently have an e92 bmw 335. It's automatic, and other than cosmetics, is 100% unmoded. I plan on adding a jb4 set up down the line, but that's a different story, and not something I'm interested so soon.
The car's great for speed, but it's ushered me into a world of love for cars, and I really want to learn manual, learn to drift in manual, and spend some quality time with an older bmw.
The perfect solution imo is to get another car.
I've been looking at older cars, (my price range is around 3k or under), and talking to some people about it.
Here are a few questions I have that I need help with:

-What are the best options for getting a car strictly for drifitng. To go from lot to lot at night just to drift; no long road trps, no racing, no nothing.
-How much should I expect to pay on maintenence for such vehicles?
-What are some good ways to find good and bad deals? I've become an expert on buying used, newer BMW's, but not sure on older ones.
-What's the BEST way to learn how to drift?

Anything else that you can add that I didn't specifically ask for would be appreciated as well.

    Thanks in advance for replies.
