Is there a video to demonstrate the responsiveness of the unit?

That I'm not going to make, but I will say the unit is lighting fast concerning responsiveness. As fast as you can poke the screen or a button it changes sources, songs, screens, modes, etc.

INSTANT is a very fair word for it, there is no getting faster than its current responsiveness. How fast it changed presents, switched to SD/USB, back to radio, to NAVI, back to radio etc was one of the first things that impressed me. You can't pull your finger back off the screen before the new song or source is already playing. Period.

The older D99 was a little bit of a clunker at times the N6 is a thoroughbred racing machine as compared.

I'm still struggling to see one of these units "Wow" me in terms of features/speed/ease of use/user customizable options, Apart from the newer Android Pure 4.2.2 Units with the Capacitive touch & multi-channel PreOuts for amplifiers etc. Especially with the newer units running 1024x600 screen resolution.

According to the Dynavin website, The N6 has " PreOut: 2 PreOuts (4V)" 2? 2 Pairs?

I will hold judgement however until I see a video & these get released.
It's a shame they are still using a generic bezel housing though with the SD slots on the front

2 subwoofer

I am not sure if the subwoofer output are full range or low pass as the amplifier I have them going to is driving the 7.1" midbass' as 50-250hz and passing through to the subwoofer amplifier for 20-80hz.

Speed & ease of use are top notch. Features are good, I'm not sure what else I'd ask for beyond crossover functionality on the preouts. I haven't begun to explore add on 3rd party apps yet...

Where would you put the SD card slots considering its something that needs to be accessed and swapped out frequently?

I can't see screen respolution making an appreciable difference. 800 x 480 vs. 1024x600 isn't much when you consider you're generally sat 4ft plus from the screen. Its already very crisp, and amazingly easy to read in the day light, even with direct sun light on the screen.

It appears the DINAN website should be upgraded with some better information regarding the PreOuts.

Well, 2 cards yes? 1 is for maps. 1 is for whatever else your heart desires. It'd be aesthetically pleasing to have a small extension that just sits in the glovebox. Or a Faux button like some of the other units out there.

I assume these are WinCE5? maybe 6?

No, but frankly you never see it....you see the selected music source screen 99% of the time....and it doesn't have a background, it's just black.

that screen is far more present in the online pics than in real world use.

Stuck, did you have the old D99? Is the bracket the same?

I haven't had a D99 but I've installed a few of them.

I'm pretty sure the bracket is 100% the same.

No, i dont think so.....I have not really dissected one yet but I did have the face off one the other day....and as I recall there were 2 ribbons, a big one and a small one. But I didnt count how many conductors....

Does anyone know what DynOS is based on? Linux, QNX, or is it all original code from Dynavin? I ask because if it is based on QNX, then theoretically one of the future apps could add support for Apple CarPlay.
