Got problems with my N6 in the M5, i get 3 beeps from all speakers when i turn the ignition on and the head unit starts. Then i get no sounds from any speakers when talking on the phone, hdd sound files, BT sound streaming etc. This happened all of a sudden:S

Hi everyone!
I’ve got some problems with my Dynavin N6 (recently bought a Range Rover l322). Two problems:
- Signal sat nav is not always found
- Volume can only be increased by steering wheel and only softer by navigation system
Do you perhaps have a solution for both problems?
Your expertise is greatly appreciated! Thanks!
Yeah, I heard they were way too overpriced and Garbage also..
Cheers!
- The Dynavin GPS Antenna uses a metal surface to enhance it's connection, ideally you want it on the rear deck ON the metal. IMO Get an OEM GPS antenna and FAKRA extension cable, much more reliable.
-That's normal. Read through the thread and you will find something like this "The steering wheel control goes directly to the AMP, while the HU acts as an intermediary through dynavins own filters, since it technically acts as a stand alone"
Been loving mine for 5 years with no issues that Jeff (Or this thread) couldn't solve. Money well spent IMO.

Hi everyone,
My volumeproblem is solved with the help of Jeff (set up was wrong VW in stead off BMW).
Now i have got another problem. If I program the radio channels and turn the ignition off and on then the system forgets the saved radio channels.. Also the system can’t find the gps-signal (also no time in screen).
Maybe these 2 problems are related? Does somebody have a solution?
Kind regards,
Erwin
Hi Jeff, I just ran into a similar problem - could you send the how to to me too please?! Andy
