Sexy man :'D
Why do you always have to be the first to post, and call dibs when a shirtless guy shows up?
Let someone else have a turn !
Looks like a good build.
I has a dual stage boost controller to sell you.

Nice turbo/tuning choice. This setup will be a lot of fun on the street
Just wanted to high five ya for the awkward shirtless turbo pic and barefoot pick in front of the white house or something lol
To OP, this thread with its pictures belongs in OT. Please ask a mod to move it :')
And butters, I like to keep them for myself.
That third pic is infront of the philadelphia art museum its right at the top of the steps where rocky climbs in the movie
rk tunes ftw. lol at photos.
this thread would be dangerous in OT
Butterstoch I may be interested in your boost controller but ultimately I was more interested in electronic one that doubled as a gauge but I will let you know
In other news It looks like I'll finally be able to drop the donor engine into my CJ-7 the biggest bottle neck in my project right now is the lack of space in my driveway
The Cj-7 has been in my family for almost 20 years around 6 years ago the original iron duke engine started knocking hard. A couple weeks ago dad said "You can fix it, You can have it" after I pulled the original iron duke out I found there were lots of oil leaks so my thinking is the oil leaks may have kept enough oil from making its way to the rod bearings thus killing the engine.
so after a couple weeks of hunting on craigslist I found a guy parting out a 1983 Jeep DJ an old postal truck so I got what I thought was the same iron duke from him thinking it would be an easy fuel efficient 4 banger swap.
Turned out that the donor engine had be linked to an auto trans my CJ-7 is a 4 speed so when my new clutch kit came in I found that the pilot bearing did not fit in the hole on the crankshaft of the donor engine (I'm not too good with the terminology here) It seemed like there was a sleeve where the pilot bearing would've slid into so after a weekend of trying everything under the sun to get it out I finally worked it out being very careful with a dremel tool sanding wheel.
Not sure if all that jeep stuff interests you bimmer people but I'll be breaking down my 325i as soon as I get this monster out on the road again. It'll be nice to have a daily driver while I'm working on my bimmer
Good choice on tuning. Interested to see where this goes!
LOL kicked my shoes off to walk in the cleanest fountain in philly (thats not saying much) I just got an offer to buy an M52B28 out of an automatic car that supposedly has only 80K miles! What do you guys think? guy says he already did compression test with the engine inside the car but already pulled it also says the cluster is broken so I dont know sounds a little shady hes only asking 750 and hes nearby my house LCO specialty auto parts. lemme know what you guys think thanks
Sounds ultra shady
$300
Found another auto part warehouse that has a M52 out of a 1998 5 series with 100K on it had auto trans guy gave me VIN number and everything seems legit I think I might go with that hes only asking 600 There arent any differences between the 3 series M52 and the 5 series m52 right?

Make sure you're not buying an M52TU
98 should be the M52
Turns out the SPA manifold I tried to purchase was out of stock I also tried to get one from treadstone also out of stock! Anyone had success with CXracing cast manifold ? Anyone selling a good used manifold PM me

Hey everyone thought I would give a quick update I got a SPA manifold I got 40Lb fuel injectors and a technica motorsports MAF I got an intercooler I got oil pressure gauge boost gauge and A/F gauge I was also given a Gt28R with an internal wastegate and a tune that I believe came out of an 1998 M3 with an M52 swapped into it Im not sure if the tune is any good for me considering my car is ODB1
I also got my 1983 Jeep CJ-7 to turn over for the first time in 8 years right now im dealing with exhaust fittings that were slightly different on the donor engine and trying to get pricing on tires
No more art museum stuff because some idiot drove his e30 down the stairs and caused damage.
And LCO is cool I buy a lot of parts from him he has always been up front with me about everything. I even bought stuff from him christmas morning after a christmas eve snow curb slam.
I took those photos after that guy pulled that stunt on the steps LOL that guy was a real jackass i can't imagine ever doing that
Drifting on kelly drive is cool driving down the art museum steps not cool
on the topic of LCO parts I decided to go with another guy who does auto parts in philly gave me the VIN # out of an M52 from a 98 528i with 80k miles he'd deliver to my backyard for 600
