Is it four door? I might have to take that off your hands if it is. Price might be a little high too, but not much.

How is the price "TOO HIGH"
    That's ridiculous - that's a great price!!!
Look at all the goodies you get - that's over 6K in mods

I guess its all relative. To me mods dont mean much price wise...I have already bought a car modded in some ways and in the end I wish I hadnt. A completely stock car, especially M3, is more valuable to me. I didnt mean to disrespect him in anyway, just voicing my opinion, which is what he asked for.

Some people look at mods as a negative and not a positive, unlike most of us here, we know that mods cost a shiet load of money.

mods are only a plus if the car comes with all the original parts that the mods replaced.

    otherwise it does two things:

    1. gives the buyer a mod he / she might not have wanted
    2. indicates that there was a faulty part and had to be replaced

just thought you'd want to know from the buyer's viewpoint

    Personally I'll have to agree.

Sorry JC, but if you were in the Bay Area, CA I would definitely look at the car. I've been looking for M3s for a while, but couldn't find one that's been taken care of.

Good luck in selling your car man.

as an idiotic, but sometimes apropot saying goes: "knowledge is power".

If you know the seller, know the reason for the mods, understand what the mods do, you're crazy not to buy the car.

I understand the buyers perspective - I bought a completely stock car and have made only one "modification" to it - Mobil1 versus Castrol Synthetic - but I also would like to add a ton of things to it to "improve" the car.

i understand your points about the mods. i am in the process of looking for a e30 325is and just like some of you, i don't want any mods whatsoever. this is strictly from a longetivity point of view though. a car like the e30 (proprerly taken care of) can last forever but when you start making engine modifications you run the risk of cutting the life span. not by much obviously but it's a concern when the cars your looking at have over 150,000 miles on them. my 98 //m3 has got at least another 100,000 miles left in her, probably a lot more.

the reason i modded mine..........speed man, addicited to the speed. lots of research went into it though and originally i was asking 28,000 for her. i realize that there are more people out there interested in a stock m3 than a modded m3 so i dropped it, unhappily mind you, hoping that an enthusiast will take a look and realize what a bargain this is.

the reason for selling it......i am getting to the point where every penny counts. looking to buy a house, start my own architecture business, even want to marry my girlfriend but can't afford the ring!

so you see, i love my //m. i take very good care of her. but it's time to move on.

That is an incredible deal. Don't pass it up because it's modded. There's a reason he put those parts on there.. Once you drive the car, you might just understand why.

thanks for the offer krazybimma but i'm not so sure i'd want to go that route. all i need is a couple of people to test drive my //m and they will see how great the deal is. mods will turn into a plus.
    thanks
