I took about a month off of the car as we had a few large snow storms and extremely low temperatures. Car has come a long way and changed directions again. Felony form has dissapointed me highly. Been almost 3 months since I paid (December 17th) so I will be either getting a refund as promised by Oliver (still waiting) or I will do a Charge Back through my CC company. New wheel/tire combo will be ready to roll next Saturday from RRT (Hit up Alex with any needs, tell them Adi sent ya.) 255/40 star spec 2's square on 17x9+42 Apex Arc 8's in Hyper Silver. I've driven the car a total of about 3 miles. Getting things squared away one by one. Currently waiting on a new o-ring/seal for the fuel pump housing as the current one leaks when the gas tank is full. Here are some things I have done in the last week or so since the temperature has broken freezing and we have gotten some spring weather!

Replaced the water pump as the old one was dripping!

Then I thought the car was ready to drive. Wen't to bleed the clutch and the clutch master was leaking so I got a new one of those and a new line!

Filling in the hole I made a few months ago to run the true duals and later a splitter. Did a test to see if my welds would hold and looks like they did! Then primed it with rustoleum and sealed it. Not sure if I will finish it off with 3m undercoating or truck bed liner. Battery tray is integrated into the well over the rear axle now too.

Made a custom Ram Air Intake to keep temps down and practice working with sheet metal (18ga)

Also had to pull the x-pipe back down to replace one of the bungs as somehow the thread was wrong and added a bung for the wideband.

    More parts

New window motor installed. Old one was giving me trouble, by working intermittently.

Carpet and rest of interior going in within the next week and she should be up for daily driving!

If anyone is interested in BRAND NEW WORK EMOTIONS WITH STAR SPEC 2 TIRES PM ME.
    18x9.5 et 25 265/35/18 Star Spec 2's
    18x10.5 et 22 285/30/18 Star Spec 2's
Should fit E36 with felony form flares, aggresive e46, or e90/e92s

I'll be looking into what materials the "socks" are made of that they sell to keep water out of the intakes

First autocross was fun and I drove like expected. Middle of the pack. Temps never broke 50* so I struggled for traction with the 255's but I had a shit ton of fun. Trying to do a few more events this year.

Also, someone asked for bay+interior, these are a few weeks old. I'll update with a few new ones in a couple days. Interior is mostly complete now, and bay has been cleaned up some.

Went to try my hand at running a 1/4 and ended up running a 12.7 as my best run with a 1.8 60'. Was a pretty cool experience but the car is definitely not built for a 1/4. Stiff shocks and the 2* of camber i'm sure don't help with traction.

Saturday I was invited to run in a poker run with some of the locals after cars and coffee. Excused the taped on hard motorsport flares, haven't had time to rivet them on yet.

Also got the car weighed today and its sitting at 2944 with over a half tank of gas!

I admire your great work on it, but doesn't you think you have invested so much money and time on this project?

These things don't grow on the trees by themselves.. If you want something you will need to spend money and time on it. Depending on your skill level and depth of the budget the ratio of time vs money varies. The end result is success if you enjoy your investment.

Very well worded. As you can see the cars I was running against. For about $20k I have a car that can hang with cars worth 5x that. Working on getting heads and cam as well as I sold my first set of heads. Once those are in, I will have a very competitive car

Gut your car more! I just weighed mine at 2680# with LS1/T56, 1/4 Tank of Gas, no driver. Weight loss is free :P

Also, are your Hard Motorsports fender flares the V1 or V2?
