I just stumbled upon this for the first time, I can honestly understand the whole "It's your car, do with it as you see fit" thing but: Chevy big block for street performance only? In an iL model? ALL OF THOES PARTS THROWN TO THE SIDE. As time goes on the enthusiast community is going to run thin because of tear downs like this. You simply can not buy this type of quality car anymore and I'm sorry but doing an LSX swap on something like this is a waste of the Bavarian standard. If OP does finish this then I will be the first to apologize but as of right now its a waste. Mods i understand you stepping in and I'm glad you did, when you did, to cut out the sh*t talking but I'm not talking sh*t. I'm simply stating that if your an owner with no understanding of the class, standard and quality of these cars or dont have a full blow shop behind you/deep pockets, PLEASE< PPLEEAASSE< don't do crap like this to these cars. You're wasting a good thing.

I don't even know what to say here. I am so glad I clicked one more link before turning in ...and now my eyes are glazed over from staying awake. I read that first page, then cheated and clicked last ... then had to read the whole thing.
