I am glad! I didn't need another, and I was getting very close to buying it. Wife and I kept talking about it, and I had her convinced we should buy it. I was going to see if I could get the cash together then make plans to come down. Like I said glad it sold because I didn't need it

So are you out of the e38 game?
Yes. Still make Monsoon subs but no E38 to drive.

Amazing work !! I own a V12 E38 and all I can say that this car is a truly nightmare to own everything breaks and still needs money to put on and never ends. BTW how reliable is the AUDI A8? cheers.

The Audi has been more reliable for sure. Front suspension Bushings, one vacuum line, normal maintenance, and mods here and there as I find the time.
I sold the Jetta TDI over a year ago with like 228K miles for $3K, that’s more than I paid for it. extremely reliable, would not hesitate to take it cross country. (See Link above the pic of the car)
The E38 kept me quite busy, I loved how it looked, and drove, but I needed more time out of the garage with a new relationship so it had to go..
The Jetta was used to drive and gets parts for the E38, or to get to work while e38 was in the garage.
(You always need a backup car with an e38. )
I removed the hydraulic trunk (and taped up the hole), removed the 19” wheels, and something else (I forget), and sold those separately.
I stopped making the subs because again, the time issue.
I gave away lots of parts, threw away more, and just check in now and then when I get an email from bimmerforums
