Thanks Paul - found your post #63 on page 3 to be the most helpful installation guide.
Great idea and thanks for going through the process of actually making something like this happen.
Just bought 2 sets from up the road in Westfield, IN. Thanks Paul!!

Thanks, shipping today and you'll have tracking info shortly. If your looking for a 750il still I'd suggest looking in the Chicago craigslist. You'll locate 9-10 750's there for every 750 you find in Indiana. 4 of our 5 750's originally came from Chicago. 2 bought direct out of Chicago, 1 bought from someone in Indiana that purchased it from Chicago from previous owner and 1 I bought in Atlanta GA flew in and drove home after the person I bought it from drove it from his dad's in Chicago. So your best luck finding 1 will be Chicago. several listed there now. A nice 1 is in Lake Geneva WI beautiful area there to drive up to as I graduated from Delavan WI and Lake Geneva and surrounding area were my Playground. Playboy club, ski resorts, Alpine valley music center, lakes, etc... perfect for a weekend getaway to check out a potential 750.
Paul
Thanks Paul. Found one out in NY and just had it shipped. I just haven't updated my sig yet. It's arrived in great shape and just needs a little TLC on small things like this window trim. I am however looking for one for my step dad, so will definitely keep the search on for Chicago.

These are still available, Panjo incorrectly ended the original listing after making a total mess of there search function. You'll now find these at the following link

does anyone know someone who makes the thin rubber stripping between the chrome trim and the car's roofline?
There is a seal attached to the A-pillar trim in the front & the seal attached to the C-pillar trim in the rear that mine replaces. There is no seal that belongs in the center as this serves as a rain gutter to help eliminate water running off roof onto passengers entering & exiting the vehicle.

MIK3750iL's photo, mine looks like this
That is the rear C-Pillar seal. The only way to get the original is buy a new trim piece @ around $200.00+each per side. Optionally you can instead use the seal that I had created to fix this since I wasn't willing to spend $150+per trim 2 years ago.
They are listed on Panjo and in a more current thread in this forum.
Yes I still have them available and over 1000 sets supplied to E38 owners so far. Contact me @ GMCPauls@gmail.com for info to purchase. Paul Sr.
Old thread, I know.. BUT just wanted to thank GMCPaul for being the type of community member and a good person for having this rubber fabricated and offering to all of us at no profit to himself. I purchased the weather stripping from him some time ago and just got around to installing it this weekend. Perfect solution!
I was also impressed that he packaged it so nicely, cut cardboard on both sides to keep it nice, etc.. Anyone that takes the time to do this and the hassle of mailing and all is 5 stars!
So it's been a long while, but thanks again GMCPaul!
