Our 2007 335i Coupe has had intermittent long cranking issues. We took it to the dealer, where the HPFP was replaced under warranty. The car started great for two days, but now it's back to the old long crank (5 secs or so).
Before paying more diagnostic fees, I'd like to check the battery. Autozone will do free battery testing; however, they can't get their clamps on the battery terminals due to the power distribution unit, etc.
Does anyone have a suggestion for how to test the battery in-car?
Thanks!
It's not the battery. If it was a slow crank, then yes. But not just a long crank
