There are 2 plastic lock pins that snap into the upper radiator plastic side tanks, use a small flat screwdriver and pull out. These are the only fastening devices used. Also, these are 2 piece assemblies, so don't lose one or the other. Additionally, there are 2 black plastics side pieces (where the large cover clips onto...6 plastic clips) that are bolted to the body, carefully pry away the top flaps that sit ontop of radiator. Remove viscous fan/clutch assembly, shroud can be pulled away now from radiator.

Thanks guys for that. It helped a lot as I changed the thermostat. bleeded the car and wasnt able to get the car to heat up like it should.
I thought that the temp sensor is wrong. Unplugged all the sensors from the back and nothing. It didnt fall down or anything ( the temp needle)
There must be something seriously wrong with the harness. I will be changing it out soon.
After putting on the new computers I am getting CE light and stomp test shows 1224 on both sides. I am also suspecting the harness to be at fault.
Here is the part number that is at the MAFS i think are from a CSI
Am I comparing it not correctly?
Here is what real oem shows me

Here is the maf I own
You car will run cooler with my Maps.......the standard timing (more retarded) lets more heat run down the exhaust ports in turn heating the coolant quicker. Optimum timing keeps the heat expansion in the cylinder longer.
Those MAFs are for a CSi. Odd you have 1224 on both sides.
Yeah. There is something wrong there. Could this be triggered by a faulty pin in the harness or something?
Knowing your "Frankenstein" CSi I'd say very likely :-)
V8 installed ? ;-)
Never. We dont need no monkey business .
Just some plane old v12
Really hope that your urethane uca bushings last longer than the ones from Phoenix I installed into 4 local cars did. Think the best ones lasted a month before the death wobble started again. Center of the urethane "ovalized". I would never install them again... fwiw!

So what is the best way to change out the wiper mechanism?

Just a thought here...... if the center ovalized. how abbout making a thicker center sleeve as to distrubute more of the load on the urethane. we did this on my brothers mustang awhole back and it has lasted over 40k miles now with no issues. Just a thought. i am sure i will need the thrust arm bushing replaceent soon. I would like to see this get sorted before i have to replace mine.
gorgeous!
With all your research, did you find any alternative to the CSi MAF sensors? My CSi currently has a limp home condition, swapped MAFs and nothing changed...same bank still malfunctioning. Changing DK's hopefully this weekend if it stops raining, but I'd like to get an extra working MAF if one is available that is not a GAZZILLIOOON dollars new .
